A pack of 10 metal sashimono, randomly selected from the decorative designs shown. These more elaborate forms were used by elite Samurai as alternatives to standard flag-style sashimono and are ideal for creating distinctive individual warriors, senior retainers and character figures.

The available designs include a butterfly, lantern, small windsock or fukinuki, black bird-feather standard, gourd, two bird-feather tori-ge, shaguma or bear-fur style standard, bamboo clump, square banner sashimono and several fan-style sashimono.

Different clans are known to have used particular forms. Square sashimono were associated with clans including Sakai, Toyotomi, Kuroda, Tsugaru, Hachisuka, Ishikawa and Tozawa, while fan-style sashimono were used by followers of Kato Yoshiaki, Niwa, Ikeda and Kamei.

These metal castings require steel rod or pins for mounting to the Samurai, and the castings will need to be drilled to accept the rod.
