Four 28mm elite foot Samurai charging into action, each wearing highly individual armour and distinctive kabuto. The dramatic poses and unusual appearance of the figures make them ideal for representing veteran warriors, elite retainers, bodyguards or characterful Samurai within a Sengoku-period Japanese army.
The first figure wears armour covered with small feathers and a helmet featuring a Tengu face mask. The second wears scale-covered armour and a kawari kabuto decorated with a crab, a symbol associated with strength. The third wears armour designed to resemble ragged clothes, with a kabuto featuring long unkempt hair, perhaps representing a ronin or bandit. The fourth wears namban armour, with a kabuto based on one worn by Niwa Ujitsugu.
The figures are supplied with their weapons, distinctive kabuto and three-dimensional sashimono, which require pins or metal rod to attach. Their varied appearance makes them particularly suitable for skirmish forces, command groups and colourful elite units.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games, collectors and dioramas.
Contains 4 x 28mm metal miniatures with separate sashimono. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
