our 28mm Ashigaru armed with teppo matchlock firearms, shown firing from both standing and kneeling positions. The varied stances make the set ideal for creating a convincing firing line and adding firearm troops to a Sengoku-period Japanese army.

Teppo became increasingly important in Japanese warfare, with Ashigaru commonly deployed in organised matchlock units alongside spear and missile troops.

Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games and dioramas.

Contains 4 x 28mm metal miniatures. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.

These figures come with cast on matchlocks and random separate heads.
