Four 28mm Ashigaru armed with yari spears and standing ready for action in a mix of poses. The varied armour, headgear and sashimono make the group ideal for creating steady spear formations and adding visual variety to a Sengoku-period Japanese army.
Ashigaru formed the backbone of many Japanese armies and were commonly equipped with long yari spears. Their disciplined use in organised formations made them an important part of the battlefield alongside Samurai, archers and firearm troops.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games and dioramas.
