Four 28mm foot Samurai standing ready for action, armed with yari and wearing styles of armour that would have been commonly seen among Samurai during the Sengoku period. The more restrained poses make the figures particularly useful for forming steady infantry units, guards, retainers or warriors waiting to receive an attack.

The figures are supplied with separate random heads, giving additional variety and allowing them to be mixed easily with other Samurai miniatures from the range. Their practical armour and straightforward poses make them especially useful as versatile rank-and-file Samurai rather than highly individual character figures.

They can be combined with attacking, charging and elite Samurai to build varied units with a natural mix of movement and battlefield roles.

Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games, collectors and dioramas.
