Four 28mm Ashigaru armed with teppo matchlock firearms and firing from prone positions. The low firing poses provide useful variety when building matchlock units and work particularly well alongside standing and kneeling teppo figures in a Sengoku-period Japanese army.

Teppo became increasingly important in Japanese warfare, with Ashigaru widely used as organised firearm troops.

Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games and dioramas.

Contains 4 x 28mm metal miniatures. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
