A 28mm mounted Daimyo wielding a sword and supplied as a one-piece horse and rider casting with two separate head options. The figure can be used to represent Fukushima Masanori or Kato Yoshiaki, while another suitable Samurai head can be substituted to create a generic mounted Daimyo.
Fukushima Masanori was a fierce and celebrated general who first served Toyotomi Hideyoshi and later supported Tokugawa Ieyasu. He commanded a major contingent of the Eastern Army at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, where Ii Naomasa and Matsudaira Tadayoshi famously moved ahead and initiated the fighting before Fukushima’s troops could claim that honour.
The alternative head represents Kato Yoshiaki, another veteran retainer of Hideyoshi who later joined the Eastern Army at Sekigahara. Both options make this a particularly useful character figure for commanders of late Sengoku-period Japanese forces.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, collectors and dioramas.
Contains 1 x mounted 28mm metal miniature with 2 x alternate metal heads. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
