A 28mm Daimyo command group depicting Mori Hidemoto accompanied by two bannermen. The set makes an eye-catching command base for a Sengoku-period Japanese army and reflects the distinctive style associated with the powerful Mori clan.
Mori Hidemoto led the Mori clan, supported the Western Army at Sekigahara and was also present during the Imjin War. He is shown wearing a huge catfish-tail kabuto covered in peacock feathers, together with a feather-covered jacket. Leaders of the Mori clan are said to have worn armour decorated with peacock feathers, and the clan is well known for its colourful appearance and distinctive sashimono.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, collectors and dioramas.
