A 28mm Daimyo command group depicting the veteran commander Shimazu Yoshihiro at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, accompanied by two bannermen. Yoshihiro supported the Western Army but held his forces back for much of the battle after his proposed strategy was rejected.
When the Shimazu finally entered the fighting, they launched a fierce attack before making their famous fighting withdrawal from the battlefield. Yoshihiro is portrayed pensively stroking his beard as he considers whether to commit his troops.
The set includes two bannermen and Yoshihiro's personal standard as a three-dimensional resin casting.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, collectors and dioramas.
Contains 3 x 28mm metal miniatures plus resin standard. Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Please note: brass banners are not supplied.
