Four 28mm Ashigaru armed with yari spears and advancing across the battlefield in a mix of poses. The varied armour, headgear and sashimono give the group a natural appearance and make it ideal for building convincing spear units within a Sengoku-period Japanese army.

Ashigaru formed the backbone of many Japanese armies and were increasingly organised into disciplined infantry formations. The yari became one of their most important battlefield weapons and was widely used in both offensive and defensive roles.

Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, skirmish games and dioramas.
