Four 28mm elite Samurai infantry armed with swords and wearing a striking variety of armour and kabuto. The individual appearance of each figure makes the set ideal for representing veteran warriors, senior retainers, bodyguards or characterful Samurai within a Sengoku-period Japanese army.

These figures are deliberately more elaborate than ordinary rank-and-file troops, with distinctive armour, helmets and poses that suit experienced warriors of high status. They can be used as elite infantry in their own right, as members of a Daimyo’s personal retinue, or as individual characters within larger Samurai forces.

The figures can also represent Daimyo on foot, making the set particularly versatile for command groups, skirmish forces and battlefield scenes. Their varied appearance allows them to be mixed with other Samurai figures to create colourful and individual units rather than uniform formations.
