A 28mm Daimyo command group depicting Toyotomi Hideyoshi seated on a tiger-fur draped chair and surrounded by his hatamoto, bodyguards, retainers and standards. The set includes a striking mix of command figures and banner bearers, making it an impressive centerpiece for a Sengoku-period Japanese army.
Hideyoshi is shown wearing a gusoku later given to Date Masamune, while his helmet, decorated with war fans and bear fur, is carried by one of his retainers. His greater and lesser standards are borne by attendants wearing tiger-fur jackets. Also included is Toyotomi Hidetsugu, Hideyoshi’s adopted son, together with his distinctive kabuto and great standard.
The figures are supplied with wire spears for mounting the banners, while the large red fukinuki is supplied as a resin casting.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, collectors and dioramas.
Contains 8 x 28mm metal miniatures plus resin fukinuki. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
