Three 28mm elite Samurai representing distinguished hatamoto warriors, each equipped with his own personal sashimono. The figures wear striking and individual styles of armour and carry unusual weapons, making them ideal as senior retainers, bodyguards or character figures within a Sengoku-period Japanese army.
The first Samurai wears a fur-covered gusoku and distinctive kawari kabuto, and carries a kanemuchi, a long iron club requiring considerable strength to wield. His long beard is inspired by the appearance traditionally associated with the Ainu people of northern Japan.
The second figure wears elaborate gusoku and carries a nagamaki, a long-bladed weapon with an extended hilt. The third wears a more practical protective gusoku with an eboshi kabuto, a helmet based on the formal court cap, and carries a large nodachi sword.
Each figure is supplied with his weapon and individual sashimono, giving the group a particularly colourful and characterful appearance.
Suitable for historical wargaming, Samurai armies, collectors and dioramas.
Contains 3 x 28mm metal miniatures with weapons and sashimono. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
